If you don’t know about Ravelry as a knitter (or crocheter), I am about to introduce you to possibly the most amazing yarn craft resource on the planet.  Ravelry is an online community of knitter and crocheters, where you can find patterns (free and bought), browse others projects, keep an inventory of your yarn and needles, join fun groups, and chat on knitting related forums.  The last point is particularly wonderful because more than once I’ve had a knitting difficulty and my fellow knitters gave me a lending hand in fixing my issues.  So if you haven’t joined yet, I highly suggest you do.

Ravelry is a huge time-suck. I think I’ve got near a hundred patterns in my queue, and close to a thousand in my favorites. So much pretty!
